Desperate N struggling while upgrading skills...
These few days, I still can cope with my work. Almost every colleague say i look better with a good hair cut. My work is on database documentation and i will learn more from colleagues about ASP n PHP in the following days. Glad to know that i have picked up some skills, while already started to polish up my documentation work. Today, done up a flowchart using visio, with draft given from a manager. Yeah, friday shall be discussing on how i can progress finishing warehouse and inventory management module documentations in the next 1 - 2 weeks. That means for about 2 - 3 weeks left, i may have bigger assignments to work on. *Drools* No la, cos i excited to gain mork experience mah. In documentations, i learnt drafting up dozens of tables in excel files, creating them in enterprise manager which can be done in SQL style, doing up Entity Relational Diagrams and of course, sometimes i am not bad at which is known as Data Flow Diagrams. In additional, i have use microsoft access to create an exact copy but lesser space of the access database. I also found out that access and excel when combined in using, can produce good data tables for viewing n drafting purposes. I shall not elaborate much here though as some of u may find it actually nothing much meaningful at all.
Having said so much, nothing much really can prove what i can actually do in a group.
Securing a MP group all hinges on the last few acceptable groups left.
First choice - join a group of pro gamers guys, but depend on whether they want to accept me or not. Chances not that high, but worth a bet. They are my good friends, you know.
2nd choice, find malay friends in BIT and join them. Though communications through english may not be that good.
Third choice - Join jonathan's group -> heard that it is not worth joining, do not know most group members well, not worth a bet.
4th choice - Should MX decided to recruit a 5th person out of a sudden, i can possibly join but there are 4 gals there. 2 known gals, 1 not so known and 1 unknown. Potential risk of either scoring high or a failure.
5th choice - Happy hunting and miraculously, find a decent enough group. Probability of finding such group is low, therefore it is not advisable. Surprises can cause a bit of a heart-throbing attack, ya know.
LAST Choice - Report to that malay female instuctor. EXTREMELY RISKY UNLESS I DUN FEEL ENOUGH RISK SO FAR. Groups are assigned to you, instead of u able to have a chance to choose. Last resort but definitely not the wise decision to make.
There you are, final 6 choices. 1st choice is a workable one as i have no qualms about it anymore. I wish it can be Happy working, happy playing. Whatever it is, i hope i can solve it by friday. Who tell me to be so fussy in the first place. Though my mother is worser than me in making some decisions. Haiz...
Having a brighter hope for the next day can reduce your present pains.

*Updates on MP happening*
It is what i deserved to be in this dilemma. I will be failing my major project soon. I have often escape from the grasp of bad luck, but this time round, it seems that my fate is sealed. Worse come worse, i will not be able to graduate from TP n become a dropout. Sure, there are still some groups. But most of them are slackers or not that hardworking enuff and may not be able to coordinate with me. I feel like a lost feather in the sky, floating around helplessly. Time to give up, ya? Maybe i should give up... Eventually, the group for my MP will make me a scrapgoat and make me work very very hard. Most likely, i will be in for a one man show if i still cannot secure a place in any decent enuff groups that are quite scarce right now.
5 people per group have stamped a fate on my seemingly bad third year so far. I am always a 6th choice im forming a group so far. Needless to say, i recognised a tremendous dip in my performance. I have been troubled by a few things along 2nd and 3rd poly year. Somehow, i am unsettled somehow after my first year after i seemingly looked to be able to settled well. Oh man, It looks like I would be struggling like mad for the coming few weeks. Sure enough, i got lots of moral support. But whenever i try harder, i would always hit walls n fall badly. My lousy grades have been tearing myself apart from my good grades. I have not been constant enough, which is not as convincing as in secondary school. Yeah, now u all can see me fall flat soon. Are't u feeling happy? Go ahead and do so. However, i am now still struggling. A miracle will now seems to be almost impossible. One thing is for sure, an all guys group would make my ownself suffer, though it depends...
If u need help but cannot get any, thats what u deserved and u better relent to fate.

Wah... My hair now a bit shorter. But not as short as before. I went to the speed shop in tampines DBS bank there for a cut. Dunno for how many months, all barbers that cut my hair anywhere i go is a male. Suprisingly, this time is a young matured female. As i long time no cut hair, i forgot some hair terms used to describe how to cut my hair. So every hair side she pointed, i replied "Cut short but not too short". Certainly enough, she knows what i mean and cut with style. Rather than my usual short hair, my hair now have a better look. Midway through the hair cut session, she asked whether i am a singaporean or not. O.O, i am stunned for a moment before saying i am a singaporean. Mayb i make my hair look neat, i looked a bit like not singaporean huh? Oh well, i am glad to hear this question as i rarely heard it.
Towards the end, she asked me whether i am studying. i replied yes and i say that i am a poly attachment student. Something like that. She then asked whether i am a year one student. I sort of like surprised, but think that mayb she is not from singapore after all. I just say i am in my third year. After that, she ask which poly i am. I just say that i am from temasek poly lo. So very soon, my hair is done. I find this haircut is quite ok. Worth its $10 as she got style it a little for me... Lucky not the guy working there cut for me as his hair cutting skill may not be as good. Haha. Therefore, I do not feel that sad now.
Btw, i pop by the coffee shop that used to exist a few months ago. Recently, I heard that perhaps, there is going to be either KFC restaurant or some sort opening soon. Oh, if it is true, i may get to eat a lot of zinger burgers. Hehe. At the moment, every thing near that area is black and empty. But display board area seems to have changes to allow a plastic board to place up there. Hope that there is one KFC opening soon, i will be quite glad if it does. Then, i may eat KFC without having to go central which is now quite inconvenient as the MRT track is now being removated and path to reach a KFC rest just become much longer. Haiz, hope it is really a KFC restaurant opening as my area do not have much of such options as a lot of upgrading projects are going on at the moment. For now, i going to rest. Tml shall start a better day...

Quite happening for last few days...
Ok... so far received NS mail telling me to register for NS between 20july05 and 10August05. But as u see, I have not yet registered. But i will do so either later or in next few days as i am still a bit busy these few days. Later will be going for a haircut, then still got to modify my draft as it is in quite some mess. And also, i have yet to form any SIP group yet. There are some options now though, but i am now still looking around for better ones... Some of the best groups have been maxed out in no. of ppl, while some groups may be a bit unstable. Others may seems to be fine, but communication n coorperation is what i think will be crucial to a good major project outcome though. Preferably there should be people that should share some interest with me though, or else how to improve communications within the group when one does not find the other people able to engage in some sort of conversations. This made me a troubled person for the time being... Hmmm... what is the next ordeal?
Yesterday, went to zpop in suntec with a group of BIT friends. The concert dun feel like concert as most popular singers are not there. N stage design is not done well enough, though the lights are quite special. Due to the audience area are in a wide rectangle shape plus the stage not long and central enough... most ppl on the right side can only see the screen. The audience are quite high when it comes to lin jun jie. Some other good singers there are gigi leung, cai chun jia, Shi kang jun and a few good ones. The unique band of the nite is the 183 club though. I oso dunno y alot of ppl oso shout, but is at the screen. Only about 40% of the ppl can see the singers and stage clear enough. Most other ppl watch the giant screens and about 20% of the them manage to find place to sit down too. Haha... There are also jue dui superstars earlier on and i dunno y there are 10 of them when there are 12 initially? Later i found out actually there are alot of rounds that eliminates 14 ppl from an initial 24? This competition is tough but also acts as a training to make them better singers at the end of the day though. Nevertheless, this starting programme is not bad for the start of a 6hr marathon though. And also, ppl generally expect things to be better in air conditioned place. Enough said, a B+ is the best that can be given to this year ZPOP concert. Wat is the meaning if u have to pay some money for jus looking at the not so giant screens for most of the time?
Finally, 5 weeks left to finish my SIP. Things appear to look brighter for me, maybe it is just my wishful hope. Maybe because i seek better work, i suffer instead. Because i am unique, synchronising work just seems to be affected somehow. 2 weeks left to finalise an MP group. There are still a few groups, but i am currently looking around for more options... now mayb see who group with a sec school friend of mine who is in same BIT course. This few days shall be crucial to whether i can graduate or not. *Silence*... ...
Remaining calm and optimistic maybe the best option to tackle tough situations.
To find fault is easy, to do better may be difficult.

Almost a month... I am back...
These few weeks, quite a lot of things have happened. Well, first of all, i apologize to any of whom I have offended in reading my blog for the last few months. My words are actually written with good intent, but due to my poor language structure, therefore some phraes can be interpreted in many ways. Just like the NKF case, all opinions will be reviewed and actions will be rectified as well. I will try my best to write better blog spots from today onwards.
Secondly, I have been introduced to well established business. It may seems tough at first, but it is mostly about healthy lifestyle. I started joining at the 6th week of SIP, and now pick up quite some tips at 10th week of SIP. Business strategy and statistics are crucial here if U want to have a good performance. So far,I have been to their headquarters and health seminars. Everything looks good at the moment. The award ceremony is equivalent to a rock/pop concert as well. Tell you all ah, It ia a dozen times more honorable to be on that stage than getting just a plain DHL certificate. So if any of you are planning to slim down, can look for me. Remember, I am available for about 18 hours a day. The remaining 6 hours is of course my sleeping time. I will explained more details and doubts when any of you ask me things related to this. This is exponential growth you know? Haha, enuff wait talk too much u all scold me again... Let me move on to 3rd happening then.
Over the last couple of weeks, i committed alot of time in temporary so called part time business, maplestory SEA and abit in Gunz online. In that well-known business in other countries, I checked out that it is actually a company with rich history. In MapleStory SEA, I get cheated by some idiotic characters of a fame each for last 3 consecutive days. But nevertheless, there is a strange contrast for me in life and in MapleStory. In life, i met alot of problems in this few weeks. But in maple, i have good luck as i managed to get considerably good items every few days. Just only today, a high level lvl52 mage sell me a vaulter bow for only 60K! Wat else can u expect? Just moments before this purchase, i picked up my 2nd 10% wdef for shield scroll. As last time i failed, this time round i waited till i feel that i may works to make my panlid better. And after i bought a rather good N cheap bow, i feel somehow that it may worked. And it definitely does improve my lousy panlid wdef-9 to a good nice small round shield of wdef14 with extra abilities. What a lucky day i am in! My skill in Gunz which is an online shooter game (www.gunzonline.com) still needs improvement though.
And so far, i got news today that my LO is finally visiting me for the first time since start of SIP 10 weeks ago. It is this wednesday at 5pm. I wonder how can the last 1 working hour of the day can be enuff at all when she never met 2 of us BIT students before? Other students are better off when LOs keep touch with them quite frequently. There are a lot of issues which can be discussed if i think hard soon. Haiz, maybe this is the last time LO will be coming to my company? lol, hard to say though as there is still a month's time left. As for now, i go for a nice sleep now. Will be updating this blog soon, perhaps in 24 hours time. See Ya.
P.S: Had a hard time getting my ear ring off last weekend. Fingers a bit numb. Pardon me for typing so short today.
Confidence plus determination plus some luck makes up the base of a comfortable life.
