So far, so good...Approaching week 11 of my ERS course, i feel much fitter and have gain some weight too. Sunrise n sunset at my camp there are quite nice at times, although weather on most days are not that good. I believe, from october onwards, there should be more rain ba. Dun tell me tis year, there is no seasonal rain in west part of singapore hor. I will surely suffer more if weather not cool enuff. Who says SCDF is better than NS? Ok, in terms of tio confinement, mayb scdf is slightly better ba. But training is tougher in certain terms. I now started to enjoy some of the activities though. Recent activities have been tough n varies alot rather than jus doing footdrills. A stronger me now can do more stuffs in an easier way but still having a little physical to catch up to follow training through as the going gets tough.
Well, i have passed my IPPT recently with flying colours. Silver timing somemore.
Here's how i fare:
Sit ups: 40 (Old: 34) Excellent
Standing Broad Jump: 226 (Old: 222) Good
Pull Ups: 8 (Old: 1) Excellent considering i can do almost none last time...
Still gotta do better as not all are standard enuff. Hehe
Shuttle Run: 10.3s (Old: 10.6s) Good but can be better as i almost fall down when i twist n sprint... =x
2.4km Run: 10m31s (Old: 12m25s) Excellent as i feel i can run faster.
Partly due to cool weather tat day too =x
Overall: Excellent. I still need to be better as doing tough rescue work requires better stamina, right frame of mind and strong willpower. Hopefully i can fare better in my upcoming SOC test tis coming tuesday.
Hmmm... so fast SOC test again... i gotta start gearing myself up to pass the timing of 9m30s first though. =x Ok, me last few weeks realised tat i will be confined to learning stuffs at home team academy in the week jus after yj bday. It has been carried forward due to the fasting month period celebration clashing. Looks like there isn't many guys able to make it for yj's chalet. Ok, i think i shall be able to help entertain the fellows there to make the presence of bear, jack n a few others not missed. Ok, Gotta go for more gym in the coming few weeks to be stronger ba. Hopefully, my muscles will be bigger soon as i eat more things nowadays. For supper everyday, i ate some extra stuffs like occasionally cup noodles in addition to wat the camp gives. Ok, will pen down more thoughts again soon. see ya =)
